This episode is devoted to "Poverty, Power, and the Public Airwaves" a presentation from November 9, 2012, held at Northwestern University Law School at downtown Chicago, on the issue of public media in Chicago and coverage (or lack thereof) of issues of poverty and power. Speakers in this episode include:
+ Tavis Smiley, co-host of the weekly show "Smiley and West" which WBEZ abruptly pulled off its regular schedule
+ Amy Goodman, host of the daily radio and TV news show "Democracy Now!", which has worked for years to get on WBEZ's schedule.
