Arne Gundersen Speaks on Nuclear Power and Climate Change

Arne Gundersen, nuclear engineer and head of Fairewinds Energy Education gave a speaking tour in Chicago during the week long observance of the 75th anniversary of the splitting of the atom. His talks, sponsored by the Nuclear Energy Information Service, gave an alternative view to the celebratory infomercials for the nuclear industry given by the University of Chicago. Throughout the week, Mr. Gundersen spoke on several topics including his trips to Fukushima to gather samples of radiation. On Sunday, 12-3-17, Mr. Gundersen focused on nuclear energy as a possible solution to climate change. He spoke at Third Unitarian Church in Chicago.
