You have to be a graduate
To be a little respected
Whatever our age
Whatever our swimming
Yet diplomas are nothing
And above all, hide everything we don't know!
Also, it is a sought reward
Has a taught conformism
To feel smarter
To never say, we know nothing
And most of the time
We know a little, only one thing
That a diploma endorses, oh! the beautiful rose
But all the rest of our knowledge lies!
And then, it avoids reading
What belongs to the real culture, the authentic mire
The diploma is never just a scroll
Orphan of the books, he is the scoundrel
The autodidact, who swallows the books
In all things, in all areas
But without any diploma, he is, as if suffering from rabies
And like Santa Claus undressed, he becomes
There was a time
Where only know-how counted
There was a time
Where only the culture of the book, prevailed
And besides, in this time
In France, even one in two bosses
Had no diploma, of this type, no document
And they weren't lepers though.
Admittedly, today's youth are mostly graduates
But she doesn't read anymore
But she no longer writes
And by culture, no longer interested!
It's a computerized youth
Courses, more or less assimilated
And without understanding, badly or well repeated
You must have your parchment
Then never read again
Then never learn again
And afterwards, no longer knowing, nothing!
The real student
The real learner
Never go to college
But notwithstanding, all his life, he will seek!
