#StopTheCops #FundBlackFutures Action (26th & MLK Drive)

On October 24, 2015, activists organized a number of simultaneous actions around McCormick Place in Chicago, coordinated to shut down the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference which is set to take place 10/24-27th. The photos in this album document the action at 26th and MLK drive which blocked one of the roads that led to the conference site.

Over 60 activists and organizers with groups such as BYP 100, We Charge Genocide, Assata's Daughters, and Organized Communities Against Deportations, as well as other organizations from other parts of the country, were arrested as a result and as of late Saturday night are still being processed at 51st & Wentworth.
